When in 1909 Anthony Gallino began cultivating his vineyards in Canale probably never imagined that one day his grandchildren would follow in his footsteps. The work of Antonio was implemented by his son Joseph, said Pinutin which acquired new vineyards and Cascina Boera, placed where it still stands Cantina Monpissan. Antonio was the grandfather of Antonio Gallino, who with his passion for vineyards and wine, with the constant help of his wife Margherita, leads to vinify grapes from 13 hectares of its own vineyards. Antonio is now assisted by his daughter Pinuccia and his son-in-law Giovanni, fully engaged in the work of vineyards, winery, farm and business marketing. By combining old traditions and new technologies, Cantina Monpissan produces typical wines of Roero, like Arneis Roero, Nebbiolo and Barbera. At grandfather Pinutin, is dedicated the "Pinutin Rose'" from Nebbiolo grapes. So, from the experience of the ancestors, the passion for his territory, Cantina Monpissan looks to the future to reach new goals.
